Author: Don Jose Ruiz
Release Date: October 2013
Publisher: Cedar Fort, Inc.
Genre: Inspiration

What a wonderful 'gift book' for yourself or someone you care about.

Beautifully illustrated with eternal truths that will help you "free yourself from self-deceit, fear, and conflict."

Toltec wisdom of sound life's lessons~

Take a look inside:

A BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL BOOK!
Both in word and picture!

About the Author
Don Jose Ruiz was born in Mexico City, Mexico and was raised in Tijuana, Mexico. When he was 21 he came to live in the U.S. with his father, don Miguel Ruiz. From a very young age don Jose was guided by many teachers present in his life including, his mother and father, his grandmother Sarita, and several other Naguals.

Through masterful guidance by his teachers and amazing life experiences with precision synchronicity, Jose came to 'silent knowledge'; he witnessed the world as it is, without any story. In his early twenties, don Jose lost his eyesight. In his process of surrendering, he learned the value of learning to listen; to listen to his inner wisdom and integrity and to see different perspectives, while knowing nothing is personal. He had a renewed love and gratitude for life ~ and he found acceptance, happiness and abundance; he found bliss. He grasped a true understanding of faith, love, gratitude and humility. Through his surrender and faith, in concert with modern medicine Jose recovered his eyesight.

Like his father, combining new insights with ancient wisdom, don Jose Ruiz is dedicating his life to sharing the ancient Toltec wisdom by translating it into practical, everyday life concepts that promote transformation through truth, love and common sense. don Jose teaches and lectures across the United States and around the world: Power Journeys to the pyramids of Teotihuacan, Palenque, Tulum and Coba; workshops with guest don Miguel or other teachers at Omega NY, Austin, and Vancouver.

Genre: Christmas, Inspiration

I LOVE "daily devotional" books like this!
They really help me with my scripture study!

I SO RELATE with the quote:
"Without meaning to we may become like that innkeeper in Bethlehem: we would love to have Jesus, but our rooms are full. Taken up with gifts, parties, acts of giving and mercy, Christmas events, ugly sweater parties, baked goods, or even family celebrations. We may make a place for Jesus among these, but it isn't always a place fit for a king."

Isn't it interesting that even GOOD things can crowd out the BEST things!

So I am GRATEFUL for books like that that bring me back to my Savior.

I ADORE how Kirsten put this book together...

"Advent is a time where we read many of the prophecies foretold of and fulfilled by Jesus. In the following devotions, I pair up the Old Testament with the New, forming a full circle."

Kirsten gives you scriptures to study...
Then she gives you a 'connection' to be made...
Followed by 'Questions for Reflection'.

An AMAZING book to be studied ANYTIME during the year!

But they finally get it right!

See how the performance goes in this WONDERFUL story!

About the Author
When our children were younger, they asked for bedtime stories every evening.

We, Mom Dina and Dad Andrey, created a character bunny named Donny.
Every evening, we came up with new stories about bunnies, Donny and his sister Michelle, and their family.
We made up different stories with different situations that would help our kids to rise above their difficulties and fears. By listening and reading along with Donny and Michelle, our children, just like the cute little bunnies, began to believe in their amazing abilities.

We decided to make children's books about Bunny Donny and his family.
We hope that our book will help other children and their parents in their path.

Author: Annette Haws
Release Date: December 2013
Publisher: Cedar Fort, Inc
Genre: Fiction

"Two different scripts were etched in their brains of what normal ought to be. Like it or not, they each brought those scripts--that they didn't know they had--to this drama called marriage."
"Standing next to each other on the stage, Elliot was reading lines from Barefoot in the Park and Nina was performing As You Like It, so of course the dialogue made no sense."

This book is an AMAZING story of two people so in love...

Until they realized that the expectations they brought with them were going to be unmet.

The little things start to bother them..."cooking mishaps, laundry disasters, and tug-of-wars with the in-laws."

Pride gets in the way, both are stubborn, both take turns leaving.

Somewhere along the way a promise was made...can they both find a way to keep it?

This book is REALLY GOOD!
Couldn't put it down!
A MUST-READ!

About the Author
Annette Haws’s literary strengths are based upon her experiences in the classroom. She has a clear, steady voice as she opens a window into the troubled world of adolescent angst and the lives of teachers trying to see into that world. Her bias is apparent; she is clearly sympathetic to the plight of teachers, but she is not blinded to their weaknesses, as she examines the flaws of her main character and allows the consequences, created by those flaws, to drive the plot.

She began her teaching career as a junior high teacher in Richmond, Utah and ended it teaching Sophomore English at Murray High School in Salt Lake City. However, her favorite assignment was a five year period at Logan High School teaching English, coaching debate and mock trial, and watching the antics of her own three children who were also students in the same school. In that five-year period, she coached, with her colleague Allison Dunn, three state championship teams and endured endless bus trips to tournaments across the state.

A native of Logan, Utah and a graduate of Utah State University, Ms. Haws examines the tribulations and foibles of characters playing their parts on a small stage. She did graduate work at the University of Iowa and the University of Utah. Her first novel, Waiting for the Light to Change (2008) won Best of State in 2009, A Whitney Award for Best Fiction, and the Diamond Quill Award for Best Published Fiction in 2009 from the League of Utah Writers. In July of 2008, the Midwest Book Review selected it as a Top Pick for Community Library Fiction Collections. Ms. Haws has been published in Sunstone, and a short story, “Fish Stories” will appear in the 2011 Winter Issue of Dialogue.

After fourteen years of teaching in the public school system, Ms. Haws set aside her denim jumpers ad sturdy shoes to pursue her interest in writing fiction. The characters in her new novel are creations or composites with two exceptions; she has drawn as closely as possible her son Andy and her friend Allison. Her large golden retriever bounded into the book uninvited.

Ms. Haws and her husband Charles currently reside in Holladay, Utah. They are the parents of four above average children, Pete, Andy, Betsy, and Charlotte, and have a spectacular little grandson, Ben and an adorable granddaughter, Lucy Jane, who knows her own mind.
