Walter Wolf Goes to the Dentist

DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS AFRAID
TO GO TO THE DENTIST?

Walter Wolf has heard from his brother Willy that the Dentist sometimes uses a drill.

Walter’s parents tell him that it will be ok, but he is scared to have his teeth looked at by the Dentist.

The book is brought to life by vivid illustrations and rhyming verse.

A book that the whole family will enjoy and a lesson the whole family needs to learn.

A great read for children from 2 to 82.
A story about facing your fears and people, or in this case wolves, overcoming obstacles.

About the Author
leela hope is a writer with over 22 years of experience in writing endearing children's fiction. Her lively characters have entranced and captivated her audience, and she has taken great joy in writing the three series of books, each beautifully illustrated with love and care. Her stories concentrate on the adventures of floppy eared bunnies and wide-eyed children learning lessons in life, before returning home wiser and eager for sleep. leela hope writes her stories to entertain the very young, but also to educate. Her vision is always of a parent sitting on a child's bed, reciting the stories each night, while the young one drifts off to sleep, lulled into a dream world full of fun and adventure.

From her very earliest years of childhood, leela made up stories in her head, telling them to her younger brother and sister. The stories flowed easily from her mind, and it wasn't long before she realized she had a gift for writing. By the age of 14, she had already written a small book of short stories for her own entertainment, and by the age of 22, she had published her first full-fledged children's fiction in several magazines. leela hope was destined to be an author and she knew exactly what genre of fiction she wanted to dedicate her life too.

Born in San Diego, California, and still residing in the area, leela studied English Literature at Berkeley, earning a degree in 1989. Her writing covers a span of several genres, but she always returns to her first love, children's fiction. She enjoys scuba diving and visiting wildlife parks, seeking new inspiration for cuddly characters for her stories. leela hope lives in an urban area of San Diego and is presently at work on a new book.

This book is SO BEAUTIFUL!
Words escape me in trying to describe it!
It is a book that needs to be experienced!

About the Artist
Greg Olsen was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho and grew up in the nearby farming community of Iona. He is the oldest of five children. Greg was blessed with very supportive parents who always encouraged him and provided opportunities for him to pursue his passion of art. Greg remembers a time as a teenager when he had been hired to paint a large sign for a local grocery store. It was wintertime and too cold to paint in the garage so his parents let him set up a workshop in his bedroom. He promptly spilled two quarts of black and orange enamel paint all over his bedroom carpet. Amazingly, his parents still encouraged him in his artistic endeavors.

After high school Greg attended Utah State University where he studied art. While attending school he met his wife, Sydnie Cazier. They have six children and are enjoying their new role as grandparents. Greg likes being close to his family. He paints in his studio, 37 steps from the back door of their home.

Genre: Children's Picture

Julia has done it again...
This book is SO DELIGHTFUL!
And the illustrations are MAGNIFICENT!

Read how cute this book starts out...I LOVE the sing-song rhyming...

"In Fairyland, each loyal sprite
Helps choose a queen to rule the night.

A regal queen is much desired.
As noble leader, she’s admired."

Deciding she’d be great as queen,
Quinn wished for velvet gowns of green

To dazzle in the morning light
With gems and sequins shining bright."

And once Quinn is all decked out...

She learns that a king must rescue every queen.

So she sets out to find a king...

She kisses a frog, bites and apple, consults a mirror, sets aside a slipper...

But then she meets "the King of all...A gruesome ogre, wide and tall."

VERY CUTE TWIST ON HOW SHE HANDLES THAT SITUATION :)

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. JULIA DWECK BOOKS!
This is one of her best...of course I said that about all the others too...
But this one really is DARLING!

About the Author
Quinn is a little fairy who dreams of becoming a queen. When I was a little girl, I wanted to become an author. This dream began as a tiny flicker of hope inside my heart. I remember reading my stories to anyone who would listen—even my dolls. Each time I shared one, I felt that spark to become a writer grow stronger inside me. You don’t need a prince or a good fairy to make your dreams come true. Stand up and conquer any nasty ogres who try to stand in your way. When we work hard and believe in ourselves, anything is truly possible. Come visit me on Facebook.

About the Illustrator
For as long as I can remember I’ve loved to draw. Growing up, no matter how busy I became or how much homework I had to do, I made the time to draw and paint. It was my dream to become an artist, and now here I am illustrating stories to share with you. Today, my dream is still alive, but now it has grown into something much bigger. I want to become an even better artist. Just  like Quinn, I am always setting new goals for myself. Belief in one’s self is the fuel that keeps a dream alive. Do your best and you will find the happily ever after you so richly deserve. To see more of my art, come visit me at www.bethtrott.com.
