My Review:
I LOVE books like this one! Filled with short stories and easy to read! Pick it up, put it down, pick it up again. Read in order, or, out of order. Read, ponder, savor, and most of all, enjoy!

I really enjoyed ALL of the stories, but space only allows for me to mention a few...

I was very TOUCHED by the title story, Checkin' It Twice...As Santa is "checkin' his list" he realizes that Christ doesn't have a naughty list. Christ gives freely to ALL! Very thought-provoking!

I also LOVED Fishing Buddy...A lonely man goes out to ice fish on Christmas Eve to pass the evening away...but he finds another man out on the ice and spend the evening with Kris K...who suddenly has to leave because he has a VERY BUSY NIGHT ahead of him. But before Kris fully disappears he leaves a very special gift with a note that says "Same time next year?"

The Two Hundred Forty-Fourth Ornament was WONDERFUL...A teacher understands that her school kids have a hard time focusing on school work during the week before she plans for it...parties...spelling lists of Christmas words, etc. She also has to plan that each year one more child will learn the truth about Santa Claus from another child. What she didn't plan on this year was a very special gift from one of her students.
