Author: Jennifer Moore
Release Date: November 2014
Publisher: Covenant Communications
Genre: Regency Romance

I LOVE Jennifer Moore's books!
Regency romance taken out of the ton and put into the treacherous world...
Yet still having all the propriety that we love to read about.
A book that will hold your attention until the very end!

Emma has known for a while now that her heart belongs to her older brother's friend, Sidney.

But Sidney is setting sail and will not be back for a while.

So Emma has her season and starts to entertain other suitors.

However she compares everyone to Sidney and has now turned down many offers of marriage.

Then word comes that Sidney has been killed.

Heart-broken Emma doesn't know what to do...should she take the latest offer of marriage or would it be better to be a spinster; even as terrible as that would be?

News finally arrives that Sidney might not be dead, but is possibly being held captive.

So Emma starts out on a rescue mission.

She will sail the seas...traipse into a prison...travel across a battlefield... all while trying to maintain the dignity of being a lady.

She will show great courage as she helps treat the wounded, gathers orphans, endures threatening demise, and helps Sidney overcome the effect of war-time stress.

Will Sidney finally view Emma as a grown woman?

Or will she forever be...the little sister?

And to top it all off Sidney might be in possession of a coin from a Spanish treasure...

See how it all plays out :)

An AMAZING story!
LOVED. LOVED. LOVED. IT!

FUN THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT JENNIFER

I love Hot Tamales. And sushi. but not together.

I studied Linguistics in school. The languages I focused on were Shoshoni, Mandarin, and Swahili. But I can't speak any of them--Although if you need to know where the verb fits in a sentence or how those languages modify a noun, I'm your girl. I do speak Spanish--and passing French.

I used to teach ESL

Every year on my birthday, my mom bakes me an angel food cake.

I'm not afraid of snakes or spiders, but I never go into a bank because I'm worried it will get held up.

I read 5 or 6 books a week and my pile never gets smaller. Sort of like a biblical miracle.

I rarely watch TV, and even more rarely movies. but I am obsessed with Walking Dead.

I love perfumes and scented lotions.

I have four sons that play sports, so I spend a lot of time driving to practices or going to games.

On the wall in my office is my old Wonder Woman costume from when I was 4. I love Wonder Woman.

For my 40th birthday, my husband told me he'd take me anywhere in the world. I chose to see the HMS Victory in Portsmouth, England, and the city where Lady Emma's Campaign takes place--Cadiz, Spain.

I love military history.

I read aloud to my kids every night.

I love old music--Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole...It reminds me of my grandpa.

I like to turn on a white noise speaker when I sleep--my favorite is the babbling brook setting.

I'm really good at Guitar Hero. My kids' friends like to challenge me.

If Alex does marry Sophia he will be labeled a 'fortune hunter' as Sophia has just come into the inheritance from her estranged grandmother.

About the Author
7 years old--Heidi writes her first story. Its's a hit (with Mom).

10 years old--since her sisters are big Georgette Heyer/Jane Austen fans, she writes a first "regency romance". Even though she dedicated it to her eldest sister who longed to visit England, she didn't let anyone read it (probably a good idea).

14 years old--she publishes a short story in the kids section of the San Jose Mercury News. She begins experimenting with pen names but in the end decides to stick with her own.

Age 25-29--she writes a number of regency romance novels, (one of which later becomes Miss Delacourt Speaks Her Mind)

Age 30--decides to devote her time to her favorite roles of wife and mother, dabbles in the antiques and collectibles market and plants a flower garden.

Age Withheld--at the encourgement of a true blue friend, she submits Miss Delacourt Speaks Her Mind to Avalon Books and sells it!

Shortly Thereafter--she starts a blog and a website and has a really big party!

Christmas is a time of fun, a time of celebration, and a time of love. Carla Kelly has combined all of it into this wonderful book!

Four stories filled with wonder and hope and...of course...romance! These stories will touch your heart and make you smile!

You will rejoice in love and romance.
You will hear singing and adulation.
You will be filled with the Christmas Spirit.

PERFECT for the holidays!
OH. SO. VERY. VERY. GOOD!

About the Author
Award-winning author Carla Kelly is a veteran of the New York and international publishing world. The author of more than thirty novels and novellas for Donald I. Fine Co., Signet, and Harlequin, Carla is the recipient of two Rita Awards (think Oscars for romance writing) from Romance Writers of America and two Spur Awards (think Oscars for western fiction) from Western Writers of America.

Recently, she’s been writing Regency romances (think Pride and Prejudice) set in the Royal Navy’s Channel Fleet during the Napoleonic Wars between England and France. She comes by her love of the ocean from her childhood as a Navy brat.
Carla’s history background makes her no stranger to footnote work, either. During her National Park Service days at the Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site, Carla edited Friedrich Kurz’s fur trade journal. She recently completed a short history of Fort Buford, where Sitting Bull surrendered in 1881.

Following the “dumb luck” principle that has guided their lives, the Kellys recently moved to Wellington, Utah, from North Dakota and couldn’t be happier in their new location. In her spare time, Carla volunteers at the Railroad and Mining Museum in Helper, Utah. She likes to visit her five children, who live here and there around the United States. Her favorite place in Utah is Manti, located after a drive on the scenic byway through Huntington Canyon.

And why is she so happy these days? Carla is enjoying writing for an LDS audience now, where she feels most at home.

About the Author
I realize that I am one of those rare people in the world who gets to live a life full of passion, romance, suspense, angst, fulfillment, humor, and mystery. I am a writer. Every day when I sit down at my computer, I enter into a world of my own making. I am in the head of a panoply of characters ranging from a nineteen-year-old Austrian debutante (The Last Waltz) to a raging psychopath (The Arthurian Omen) and four women at once in The Only Way to Paradise. Then there are the feisty heroines of my Regency romances . . .

I am a traditionally published,award-winning, best-selling writer who has recently gone Indie. I enjoy genre-hopping, having published a genealogical mystery series, two women’s fiction novels, an historical epic, two suspense novels, five Regency romances, and a couple of non-fiction offerings.
With a BA from Stanford and an MA from George Washington University in International Relations, I somehow stumbled into finance. But, once my husband was through law school, I never wanted to do anything but write and raise kids. Now the kids are gone, but (even better) there are four grandchildren who provide my rewards for finishing a manuscript.

Aside from the grandchildren, my favorite things include: Florence, Italy; snow storms; Oreos; real hot chocolate; sweaters; Sundance Resort; lilacs; and dachshunds.

An incredibly delightful regency romance anthology for the upcoming holidays!

This is a short book to be fit in with all the hustle and bustle this time of year brings.

It is also an amazing book to put you in the holiday spirit!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sarah Eden's books!
I have read EVERY ONE of them!
I LOVE her strong female characters!
I LOVE the sweet and tender romance she includes!
I LOVE reading about the "proper way" in which one had to conduct oneself during that time.
I LOVE how positive her books are!
I just LOVE her writings!

In the past she has always had the setting be during the 1800's in England

In this book it is still 1800's, but the setting is in Wyoming, USA

A time of struggle.
A time of poverty.
A time of feuding.

Katie Maculey has traveled from Ireland to Wyoming in answer to a housekeeping job post.

She has been working and saving since she was 8-years-old in hopes of returning to her Irish roots.

When she arrives in the small Wyoming town of Hope Springs she finds herself in the middle of an ongoing feud between the Irish and the American frontiersmen.

Katie finds herself in not only a love triangle between two wonderful men, but also caught between her hopes of returning home OR staying and being the HOPE of the Irish people.

Genre: Regency Romance

IF I HAD TO CHOOSE A FAVORITE SARAH EDEN BOOK
THEN I WOULD SAY IT IS COURTING MISS LANCASTER

I truly LOVE regency romance and it all started with this book!
If you have never read Sarah Eden you are so missing out!
If you have read Sarah Eden then you know exactly what I am talking about!

Harry Windover adores blonde, green-eyed Athena Lancaster, but alas, a penniless man like himself has no hope of winning a young noblewoman’s hand.

To add insult to injury, Athena’s brother-in-law and guardian, the Duke of Kielder, has asked Harry to assist Athena in finding the gentleman of her dreams.

But the lovesick Harry is cunning as well: as the weeks pass, he introduces Athena to suitors who are horrifically boring, alarmingly attached to their mothers, downright rude, astoundingly self-absorbed, and utterly ridiculous.

Athena can’t comprehend why she is having so little success meeting eligible and acceptable gentlemen. Indeed, her circle of admirers couldn’t be less admirable — nothing like the loyal, gentle friend she’s found in Harry.

But how long can Harry’s scheme be hidden before it is discovered? And what will Athena do when she uncovers Harry’s deception?

Escape into a charming regency world in this delightfully romantic comedy of manners that will entertain you to the very last word.

From the Author:
I'm not normal. I'm an author. I spend enormous amounts of time avoiding responsible things like cooking dinner and doing laundry and making vital phone calls. Instead, I fill my days with making up stories, talking to voices in my head, and laughing hysterically at my own wit. Like I said, I'm not normal.

About the Author:

Sarah Eden is definitely one of the best regency romances writers!
Her books are WONDERFUL! EXCITING! And ENCHANTING!

She writes with such a passion that you can feel the emotions of the characters that help you fall in love with each and every one of them.

Her stories often involve a man and a woman~
The man always believes one way and the woman always believes another way and in the end they find out they were both wrong.

But that is what makes the book so right...And so good!

Maranda believes that when her husband left her to attend to business it was his way of saying he wants nothing to do with her.

Carter believes that when Maranda left while he was away on business that it was her way of saying she wants nothing to do with him.

Now three years later Carter takes his holiday party to his countryside home and finds that Maranda has been living there all along.

Propriety holds them hostage and they must make everyone believe that they are a happily married couple in order to avoid any further scandal.

When truths come out the couple realizes there marriage does indeed contain a "glimmer of hope."

This is a book you will truly LOVE, and DEVOUR, and thoroughly ENJOY!
