RIPPLE EFFECT
by Traci Hunter Abramson

Kylie Ramsey is supposed to be invisible. In fact, to keep her unnoticed, the FBI has changed the world-class swimmer's identity and moved her twice in the last year. However, there are still a few people who would quickly recognize her. One of them is Matt Whitman, the man Kylie could have easily spent eternity with. The other is Judge Rush — the man who wants Kylie dead.

Now the former rising-star athlete is forced to live a life in the shadows. Worst of all, Kylie believes she will never see Matt again — especially now that she lives two thousand miles from his home. But through a twist of fate, or perhaps a fatal FBI clerical error, they both arrive in the same town, and Kylie now struggles between feelings of elation and dread. What was supposed to be a safe haven could become the most dangerous place on earth.

TRIPWIRE
by Traci Hunter Abramson

Jane Napierski is back at work at the job she loves—being a personal assistant to her friend Sienna Blake, a rising star actress. The duo is on location in Virginia Beach to film Sienna's new TV series, along with costar Reed Forrester—the man with whom the world thinks Sienna is in love. Wrong.

Sienna's heart actually belongs to her fiance, Craig, a Navy Seal with the Saint Squad. Craig must fly under the radar if he is to keep Sienna safe from this world of terrorists and toxic bombs. And Reed has no problem pretending to date his old friend Sienna simply because it means he can spend time learning more about Jane. Making a TV series is grueling work but not nearly as difficult as the treacherous adventure that is about to begin with a simple photo taken in the wrong place at the wrong time—an image worth killing for.

When Craig returns to the United States to spend time with Sienna, he's not expecting to spend that time protecting her and Jane. Frightening incidents targeting the two women rapidly escalate, and as Craig and his Saint Squad investigate a tangled conspiracy, they find themselves tracking, here at home, the terrorists they have searched for across the globe. But can they shut the terrorists down in time to save Jane, Reed, and Sienna?

SAFE HOUSE
by Traci Hunter Abramson

The guardians, the shadowy heroes of the top-secret program designed to protect members of the most elite government organizations, are being hunted down one by one. There is a single explanation: a traitor must be embedded somewhere in their midst. But if they themselves are the target, who will protect them?

CIA operative Renee Niezen has heard tales of the guardians, though she’s never really believed in their existence—until she is approached by Charlotte, an old friend who desperately needs her help to stop the systematic destruction of the guardian program. Renee accepts the plea for assistance, but not everyone is thrilled to have her on the team. Kade—one of the last guardians standing—is unimpressed with Renee’s qualifications and turns instead to the legendary Saint Squad for help. But when Renee is caught in the crosshairs, Kade must set aside his antagonism for the woman in order to protect her. Their grudging alliance soon develops into much more—but before the pair can examine their feelings, their investigation takes a dramatic twist. With lives on the line, Renee and Kade must use their spy training at every turn as they draw dangerously close to the shocking truth.

But if complicated romantic entanglements are what she’s trying to escape, she’s out of luck.

Ryan Strobel has had it with spotlight-seeking women. As third baseman for the Washington Nationals, he’s dealt with more than his fair share of opportunistic admirers—but his ex-fiancĂ©e, Brandi, may be the worst. When the woman refuses to take no for an answer, Ryan’s teammate Ben offers a crazy solution: Ben’s sister will pose as Ryan’s new girlfriend. Though an unlikely pair, Ryan and Kari find themselves getting surprisingly comfortable with the charade. Soon, the line between fact and fiction is blurred, and the very real feelings that develop between the couple are undeniable.

But when faced with the interference of conniving exes, family objections, and the reality of their very different lives, are Ryan and Kari destined to strike out in the game of love?

A lot can change in six years, however, and they must figure out how to make their two independent lives mesh. Unable to disclose his CIA job to his new wife, when Devin is assigned a top-secret mission to Hong Kong, he tells Grace part of the truth: that he is going to work abroad for six months in finance. But when the mission turns deadly and Devin doesn’t know whom to trust, he must make the most difficult decision of his life in an effort to keep Grace safe.

Will the seeds of deception prove destructive to their newly formed marriage? And will the love that brought them together be the very thing their enemies use to tear them apart?

SPOTLIGHT
by Traci Hunter Abramson

Navy SEAL Craig Simmons has pledged his life to serve and protect, so when this newest member of the Saint Squad observes a stunning young woman on the beach being shadowed by an armed man, he leaps into action. It doesn’t take long to realize his mistake, but it also puts him in a position to meet a very well—known actress, Sienna Blake. For Sienna, the timing couldn’t be more perfect—she’s preparing for a role as a CIA agent, and who better to help her prepare than a Navy SEAL? Craig and Sienna develop a lighthearted friendship, though both are aware of their growing attraction. Neither realizes, however, that a treacherous enemy is setting in motion a terrifying plan to destroy Sienna . . .

A series of near-fatal accidents on set are too close for comfort, and Sienna has been lucky to escape with her life—so far. Despite the rising danger behind the scenes, the show must go on. When the Saint Squad is enlisted by the FBI to safeguard Sienna on the ill-fated film set, Craig is driven to protect the woman he is quickly growing to love. As the list of suspects and motives grows, Craig and the Saint Squad will do whatever it takes to track down the perpetrator-before things turn deadly.

My Review
I love how innocently this all started...
Craig was just being observant.

Then one thing after another happens...
Things escalated one step at a time...
And soon the whole team is involved.

A fun twist to send the team to Hollywood.

Love the Saint Squad!
Keep writing Traci--we want more!

FAILSAFE
by Traci Hunter Abramson

In the wide-open landscape of Pennsylvania, Charlotte Martin and her father live a peaceful life on their farm. . . or so it seems. In truth, the rural locale provides the perfect front for the father-daughter NSA operatives as they expertly carry out their mission: using a high-tech computer system, they protect a team of undercover agents. Some would kill to have access to this system, and it makes Charlotte and her father prime targets. It was only a matter of time before this nightmare unexpectedly crashed down on them, and only Charlotte escaped with her life. Before Dwight Martin died, though, he initiated the failsafe lockdown, and now Charlotte's the only one who can access the system.

Writer Jake Bradford left the serene Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia for the hustle and bustle New York to pursue his dreams and never looked back. Until now. Entrusted with his ailing grandmother's care, Jake knows he needs help and he can't believe his luck when a lovely young woman providentially appears on his doorstep. Charlotte creates a new persona for herself and quickly develops a bond with Jake's grandmother. But it's the connection she feels with Jake that makes it almost too easy to lose sight of her reality: she is being hunted by men who will stop at nothing to access the intelligence she protects. With time running out, can the couple find a future together, or will Charlotte's secrets tear them apart?

My Review
I LOVED the unusual, intriguing twists in this book. Such as the mode of transportation chosen to not be tracked, and the family history twist to try to find out who Charlotte's real parents were, and what requesting a birth certificate leads to. As always Traci delivers great action-packed suspense with just a hint of romance...just like I like it! Traci Hunter Abramson is one of my all-time favorite authors- I highly recommend all of her books! Get ready for a "brand new adventure!" "She can run...but can she survive?" SO. SO. SO. GOOD!

She has gone on to write a number of bestselling suspense novels that have consistently been nominated as Whitney Award finalists. 10 FUN FACTS TO KNOW ABOUT TRACI

1. I've coached high school swimming for 19 years and this year had my first state champions on my team. (boys' 200 freestyle relay)

2. When I first arrived at BYU my freshman year, I kept trying to figure out what people were talking about when they said a girl was going for her MRS. degree. It was second semester before I finally understood they were talking about someone hoping to get married.

3. For years, I always had to sit at the end of the table for dinner because I'm right handed. Three of my four children are lefties.

4. I learned how to ride a horse when I was three because my grandfather caught me heading to the pasture carrying a lead rope. He figured he'd better teach me about horses before I learned the hard way on my own.

5. I wrote the majority of Failsafe using a digital recorder while driving back and forth across the state of Virginia to visit a friend in the hospital every week. The scenery was "written" while I was driving through it.

6. In college, I majored in Finance and International Business because I didn't think it was possible to follow my dream of becoming an author.

7. My mother-in-law lives next door to me. Yes, this is a good thing.

8. My favorite kind of sandwich: sautéed mushrooms and lettuce (especially the spring mix)

9. I love Mexican food but my husband and kids all prefer sushi.

10. While editing Royal Target, I accidentally sent it in to my editor without renaming it. She laughed when she saw my working title: royal pain.

The Saint Squad just got a new member and Vanessa Johnson just got a new assistant...

But change is hard especially when lives are at stake.

So Damian Schmitt (new squad member) is left behind when the team is called into action.

Of course it didn't help that on his first training mission someone is almost killed...and the team suspects it wasn't an accident.

Since Damian and Paige Vickers (Vanessa's assistant) are both new it seems only reasonable that they would be drawn together to help each other out.

As Damian helps Paige move into her new apartment word comes that the squad is missing in action.

Vanessa is worried about her husband and jumps at the change to go find him herself.

Now it is up to Damian and his SEAL training and Paige with her background in psychiatric nursing to put all the pieces together and help bring the team home.

Twists in the plot will keep you turning page after page to see if these two newbies can stand up to the pressure and truly become part of the Saint Squad family.

A FANTASTIC READ!
LOVED IT!

About the Author
Growing up, Traci always dreamed of being a novelist, but the practical side of her prompted her to study finance and international business at BYU. She was recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency right out of college and she thoroughly enjoyed working there. Her love of reading and writing never left her, however, and after leaving the CIA, she indulged in both hobbies. She spent about seven years writing her novel, Undercurrents, and ultimately pursued publication. She has been writing and publishing ever since.

THREE of my favorite authors have come together for one AMAZING book of SUSPENSE, MYSTERY, "SPINE-TINGLING THRILLS, and CHILLS!"

Just as you finish one FABULOUS story you are thrown into another FABULOUS story and then another FABULOUS story and you can't stop until all three are solved!

Stephanie, Gregg, Traci
Gregg Luke~ Throughout my life, I have loved writing. I began my literary career writing and illustrating short stories (none of which were ever published). My first success came with cartoons published in Skin Diver Magazine, the Oceanographic Letter, and several in the New Era. It wasn’t until I had graduated from college that I began to write seriously. Even then, it took nearly ten years before I had any success getting published. I’ve published in the New Era, Destiny Magazine, and Pharmacy Times. My preferred reading genre is science-based thrillers, particularly the works of Robin Cook, Tom Clancy, and Michael Crichton. But I enjoy reading just about anything I get my hands on, fiction and nonfiction, including many LDS authors. My literary claim to fame is being a finalist for a Whitney Award in 2008 for Do No Harm,in 2009 for Altered State, in 2010 for Blink Of An Eye, in 2011 for Bloodborne, and in 2012 for Deadly Undertakings.

Stephanie Black~ I’ve enjoyed making up stories since I was a child, when my sisters and I would play long, strange Barbie games or write and direct plays for ourselves and younger siblings. I took a creative writing class in high school, but my stories stunk, since I hadn’t yet figured out that a story needs a plot. But I finally got a fun idea, and an encouraging comment from the teacher got me rolling. After a few years of writing random scenes, I decided to try writing a novel start to finish, but that led to a failed unfinished manuscript and the realization that there was a lot more to writing fiction than I’d ever understood. I began reading books about fiction technique and started over with my novel project. After many years of reading technique books, writing, rewriting, more rewriting, submitting, and then—when I thought I was finished—major rewriting, my first novel, a futuristic thriller called The Believer, was published by Covenant Communications in January 2005. I then turned to writing contemporary suspense, and Fool Me Twice was released in 2008, followed by Methods of Madness (2009), Cold as Ice (2010), Rearview Mirror (2011),Shadowed (2012), and The Witnesses (2013). Four of my mysteries are Whitney Award winners for Best Mystery/Suspense, and The Witnesses was a Whitney Award Finalist for Best Speculative Novel.
