Christmas Delight

CHRISTMAS DELIGHT
by three amazing authors

Prepare for a holiday treat as three acclaimed authors unite in Christmas Delight, a 3-in-1 collection of Christmas classics
sure to brighten the season.

• A Return to Christmas by Chris Heimerdinger—Until he was three years old, Artemus Holiday and his twin brother, Andrew, shared all the adventures of life. But when young Artemus lost his brother in a terrible tragedy on Christmas day, the magic of the Christmas season seemed forever shrouded by a cloud of sadness and despair. But miracles have been known to happen during this time of year. This heartwarming Christmas story follows the Lives of two eleven-year-old heroes—the wary and cynical Artemus and an outcast named Chess, a homeless con artist with a heart of gold. Through a simple twist of fate, these boys will find themselves swept into the adventure of a lifetime—one that takes them beyond their wildest imaginings. A Return to Christmas wraps holiday sadness, joy, and wonder into one very special package. Once you open it, you will never see Christmas the same way again.

• Christmas in Haggerty by Betsy Brannon Green—'TIS THE SEASON, and in Haggerty, Georgia, that means Christmas programs, caroling, front door decorating contests, and plenty of festive food to share with your sometimes eccentric neighbors. Not everyone, however, has caught the Christmas spirit. Kate Iverson doesn’t want to accept that there will be no more babies in her future, even though her doctor is certain that her childbearing years are behind her.Despite her discouragement, a recurring dream has Kate convinced that there is yet work for her to do. Through faith, prayer, and the assistance of inspired friends, Kate soon becomes part of a modern Christmas miracle—and learns a powerful lesson about the true meaning of Christmas.

• A Homemade Christmas by Alma J. Yates—It has been a disastrous year for the Cluff family, and eleven-year-old Nadine would just as soon not let anyone know how poor they really are this holiday season–especially her new friend Jennilynn. So in a dramatic effort to save face, Nadine comes up with the “giving thing.” Unfortunately, well-off Jennilynn really likes the idea of homemade gifts, and now poor Nadine’s spur-of-the-moment idea is out of her control. She’s actually going to have to make presents. But does she have to make one for her grumpy old neighbor Mrs. Thurman? Join a delightful cast of imperfect characters on a heartwarming quest for the true spirit of Christmas giving.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Although author Betsy Brannon Green was born in Salt Lake City, she has spent most of her life in the South. Her writing and her life have been strongly influenced by the town of Headland, Alabama, and the many generous gracious people who live there.
The Eureka Series 3-Book Bundleincludes:
    • Never Look Back— Shortly after Sydney Lovell graduates from high school, Craig Cochran, a handsome returned missionary, sweeps her off her feet and they are soon married in the temple. Almost immediately, Sydney gets pregnant and Craig begins school to become a doctor. Life is going exactly as planned, unfolding in utter bliss.
      The years fly by in a blur as Sydney raises their three children while Craig completes medical School, his internship, and residency. Then the bottom falls out when Craig asks Sydney for a divorce.
      While working as a waitress and struggling to make ends meet, Sydney meets Cole Brackner, a friendly, attractive, single man, and over time a friendship develops. But Cole's life is complicated as well. He is under pressure to sell his cattle ranch to a developer, and when he resists, his tires are slashed, cattle are poisoned, and horrible rumors start to circulate. And even as Sydney helps Cole unravel these mysteries, the two find themselves in the middle of a dangerous battle against powerful forces dead set on making sure that the truth never sees the light of day.
      Betsy Green, the best-selling author of Hearts in Hiding, weaves a tale of intrigue, romance, and southern charm.
    • Don’t Close Your Eyes— In the quiet town of Eureka, Georgia, a woman is murdered. On that same night, Helen Tyler arrives in town. She’s a kind, soft-spoken woman who owns a handgun and refuses to give out her telephone number.
      Matt Clevenger, the county sheriff, finds a white Bible on the end of the murdered woman’s bed, and learns that another body was found in exactly the same way just two weeks earlier.
      With little more than this scant but bizarre evidence, Matt must uncover the secret identity of a killer. Helen Tyler must hide a secret past. Together, they embark on a terrifying journey that brings them ever closer to the answers to this deadly mystery, answers that will change both of their lives forever.
    • Foul Play— Atlanta is buzzing with excitement over the formation of a glamorous new enterprise that promises huge rewards to those at the top. Billie Murphy, a public relations representative and part-time fiction writer, has been watching from the sidelines. But not for long. Soon forces beyond her control will draw her into a deadly game of fraud and deceit initiated by those who will stop at nothing-even murder-to win. To survive, Billie must trust a man whose reassuring exterior hides a devastating past. But time is running out. . .
      Foul Play, by master storyteller Betsy Brannon Green, is an emotionally charged romantic thriller that will keep you glued to each suspense-filled page.
    And it has brought them closer together...
    It is even possible that they have fallen in love with each other.
    But Brooke is full of lies and Hunter is fed up with them.
    Hoping to win back his trust Brooke vows to never lie again...
    Caught between her new-found commitment and her old job at Joined Forces, "an illicit group of environmental activist," Brooke realizes she must take the deal and become an undercover aid to the FBI.
    Hunter has promised to stay by her side and protect her at all costs, but can he trust her, let alone love her again?
    Hunter's Special Forces team has been sent on a suspicious mission leaving Hunter and Brooke to battle this one out on their own.
    About the Author
    I was born on June 1, 1958 in Salt Lake where my father was attending the University of Utah. After he finished his undergraduate work, we moved to Birmingham, Alabama for medical school. When my father graduated from medical school he joined the Army so over the next few years our family had the opportunity to live in several different cities, including Honolulu, Ft. Knox, San Antonio, and Colorado Springs. We finally settled in Decatur, Alabama where I met and in 1979 married Robert (Butch) Green.
    I have always loved to write but decided to make a serious attempt at writing a novel during the fall of 1999. It took me 8 months to complete my first book which was later rejected by publishers. My second attempt, Hearts in Hiding, was published by Covenant Communications in May of 2001. Since then I have published an additional eighteen books with Covenant and have contributed to two Christmas books. My first self-published book, Pivot Point, was released in October of 2012.
    I am very thankful for the opportunity to write books, but there can be no question that the greatest accomplishments of my life were - first marrying Butch and second - becoming the mother of the eight greatest people I know.
    (A review copy was provided, however all reviews are of my own opinion :)
    Pivot Point
    This book is WAY BEYOND anything I expected!
    It is INTRIGUING!
    It is AMAZING!
    It is FANTASTIC!
    It is ABSORBING!
    It is STARTLING!
    And all those other words that mean it is SO GOOD!
    Meghan has a chance to go back in time and choose a point...a pivot point...and make ANOTHER decision from the one she originally made.
    Through dreams she can see how life would turn out had she made that different choice.
    The story that unfolds will keep you captivated!
    I LOVE Betsy Brannon Green's writings...she is one of my favorite mystery writers with her Haggerty Series.
    But this suspense story of hers is definitely at the top of my best reads for the year!
    She leaves us hanging at the end so I hope she writes a sequel to let us know what happens next!
