In Mark of Royalty we learn that Sarah was born first and given the royal birthmark....

But since she was a girl and had a twin brother follow her she was sent away...

For the prophecy said "It shall be the son, the firstborn in the new monarchy, who shall quiet the fears and unite the nation again."

Sarah grew and learned of her true identity...and fell in love with the prince

NOW...as the story continues...

Sarah must prove herself worthy of marrying the prince.

To do so "she must return to her home country of Kyrnidan to face her destiny."

What she wasn't planning on is the upheaval of the people and the opposition of the council against her return.

While some want her to take the throne away from her brother, other plans are being laid to kill her.

When Sarah's bodyguard suggests that she run away with him and leave the life of royalty and her waiting prince...she is definitely tempted...

Two men, a divided nation, and one prophecy

Sarah "must now determine where her love and loyalties truly lie."

Which way would you choose?

AN AMAZING STORY!

About the Authors
Jennifer K. Clark and Stephonie K. Williamsare sisters by chance but became friends by choice when a year of rooming together at college taught them how to get along. Now “play”-at-home moms, separated and living in different parts of the country, they stay in touch and support each other in their individual projects.

Jennifer K. Clark lives in the small rural town of Wellington Utah, as much as her husband wishes it was Wellington New Zealand. After years of entertaining her three children with infamous made-up stories, she decided to put her imagination to good use and became an author. She likes to add a touch of romance to her novels along with a healthy dose of adventure. Fueled by Lindt Chocolate Truffles and Sour Patch Kids, she now spends a copious amount of time with the characters in her head. In her spare time she likes to create science experiments with the ingredients in her potions cupboard, debate which Doctor is her favorite (currently the 10th…or maybe the 11th), and—when she has time—watches the A&E version of Pride and Prejudice.

Stephonie K. Williams makes her home in a quaint farming town in eastern Iowa with her husband, three cats, and a budding ninja. Two of her favorite things in Iowa are the fireflies (aka lightning bugs) and cows, especially the calves. Despite having lived there for 15 years she still misses the majesty and tranquility of the mountains of Utah where she grew up. She has a vast collection of fortune cookie fortunes because she has yet to determine if it is unlucky to throw them away. She also loves to quill, the art of rolled paper, not to be confused with quilting.

Stephonie is passionate about education and enjoys visiting schools to teach classes on creative writing. She has written poetry, short stories, and dissertations, although Mark of Royalty was the first of her work that she was brave enough to submit for publication.

About the Author
AdamIn between books, Adam Glendon Sidwell uses the power of computers to make monsters, robots and zombies come to life for blockbuster movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean, King Kong, Pacific Rim, Transformers and Tron. After spending countless hours in front of a keyboard meticulously adjusting tentacles, calibrating hydraulics, and brushing monkey fur, he is delighted at the prospect of modifying his creations with the flick of a few deftly placed adjectives. Angels Club
by Courtney Vail &
Sandra J. Howell

Hola, Cuties! I’m Jacinda Gonzalez, almost twelve. Although I think I’m pretty nice, not to mention way cool and one of the most knowledgeable people in all things horse, I just can’t make any friends in my new school. The only things flying my way are totally rude insults.

The horseback riding therapy farm where I volunteer becomes my perfect escape from mean bullies. And when Angel, a scrawny, muddy American Curly, shows up as rescue, no one but me can see her potential and lovableness, so I take her on as a project horse to get her ready for sale.

But, the thing is, I don’t want them to sell her. She’d be so perfect for therapy. So perfect. Now, if only I could prove it. Anyway, Angel’s sugar-candy personality inspires me to be sweet in spite of bad things happening to me.

So, of course, I can’t resist the urge to make the world a whole lot brighter.
Come on in and see how I do it!

Saints and Soldiers: The Void

SAINTS & SOLDIERS: THE VOID

HOLDS ALL THEATRES AND EXPANDS ON AUGUST 29

THIS MOVIE IS THE BEST!
SO WORTH SEEING!
WOW! AMAZING STORY!

Salt Lake City – Go Films announced today that due to the success of SAINTS & SOLDIERS: THE VOID’s opening weekend, the film will remain in all its opening weekend theatres and open in additional theatres on Friday, August 29. The film is currently playing in all Megaplex theatres throughout Utah and southern Nevada. On August 29, the film will expand to markets all across the country. Some of the new markets include Denver, Los Angeles, Houston, and Dallas.

Written and directed by Ryan Little (SAINTS & SOLDIERS, FOREVER STRONG), the film depicts a U.S. tank crew in the twilight of WWII. On a final mission deep in the Harz Mountains, the crew discovers a platoon of Germans, including three infamous Panzer tanks, preparing to ambush allied supply trucks.
Before the war, Sergeant Jesse Owens (Danor Gerald) was a product of segregation and racial discrimination. Forced by law to ride in the back of the bus and disenfranchised from the political process. As the Germans bear down on the Americans, Owens fights the Axis powers for a freedom he and his fellow African American soldiers have never felt.
With a deadly game of cat and mouse quickly unfolding, Owens and his predominantly white tank crew find themselves out-gunned and out-manned by the German Panzer tanks. Several in Owens’ crew are reluctant to put their faith in a black tank driver despite their dire circumstances. With tension and fear beginning to manifest Owens knows they must put aside their differences to stop the enemy from their deadly plan. Knowing that a victory over the Nazis means a victory for racial justice, Owens and his men find a way to work together to save hundreds of lives in a desperate battle against the greatest odds they have ever faced.
"We are pleased with the opening weekend’s box office success," said Ryan Little. "Beyond the box office success, we are thrilled with the responses we’ve received from people who have seen the film.”

People of all ages are enjoying the film, the meaningful message, and highly recommending it to others.

“The thing I love about the Saints and Soldiers movies are, no matter what our skin color, what we do, or where we come from there is one thing that makes us American. That is the belief that freedom is worth the fight,” said Tara Starling.

About Go Films: Since its creation in 2002, Go Films has been the driving force behind the award-winning films SAINTS & SOLDIERS, OUTLAW TRAIL and FOREVER STRONG. Co-founders Adam Abel and Ryan Little strive to create engaging entertainment. Based out of Utah, their projects benefit from the diverse scenery and the reputation their productions have established.

The original SAINTS & SOLDIERS won “Best Picture” at more than 14 film festivals around the world, including Grand Prize at the Heartland Film Festival and was nominated for two “Independent Spirit Awards” in 2005.

Where Angels Tread

Book Details
Author: Loretta Livingstone
Release Date: April 2014
Genre: Fiction

I will admit that I have led a very sheltered life...and don't understand a lot of what people go through.

The other day my husband and I were driving past a park in a large city and I saw quite a few people who looked like they were homeless.

It made me really ponder what happened to them that would lead them to live like that.

As I was pondering I remembered seeing A LOT of PRAISING REVIEWS on this book.

So when I got home I picked it up and read it.

WOW! Such a GREAT story!

Jeannie is a shy girl who's father left them and her mother, Rita, has to work many hours to provide for them. One day her mother brings home yet again another man by the name of Matt...

Matt is suave and slick and dangerous. He seems to really care for Jeannie at first...and then he seems to care a little too much.

Rita starts to feel betrayed and yells for Jeannie to GET OUT!

Jeannie runs away...

With nowhere else to go..she ends up on the street.

Through different events Rod, Carla, Jeremy and Mike will cross Jeannie's path in life "and will change it forever."

BEAUTIFULLY TOLD!
It will definitely leave an impact on your heart!

About the Author
British author Loretta Livingstone lives with her husband in a beautiful area of the Chilterns. She writes both rhyming and free verse about anything which happens to capture her imagination. She enjoys writing love poems, inspirational verse, verse about her strong Christian faith, and humorous poems, and has just published her first foray into the world of fiction.

"I have suffered from M.E. (chronic fatigue syndrome) for many years, which has put something of a kick in my gallop - to put it mildly. But I am just beginning to be able to do a little more. Hence starting to write books. At least that is something I can do lying down.

I also love to read. I read several different genres, but I have a particular love of medieval history novels. I am fairly picky though. I only have a handful of writers from that genre whom I really enjoy, Sharon Penman being my favourite. Luckily for me her books are huge, meaty tomes which, as well as providing excellent value for money, keep me glued to them for days."

My Memoir of Motherhood

Book Details
Author: Chantal Bellehumeur
Release Date: 2014
Publisher: CreateSpace
Genre: Biography

A brave girl did a brave thing...

Young, single, and pregnant...
Chantal has to make a choice...
Does she keep the baby or abort it...

Thirteen years later he son asks her "Did you ever consider aborting me?"

Excerpt
"The truth was, I had thought about getting an abortion the instant I found out that I was pregnant with him because I was only eighteen years old at the time, still in high school, and had been accepted into the university program I wanted.

My handsome blond haired son stared at me with his brown eyes, patiently waiting for an answer. I didn’t want to lie to him, but didn’t know how to tell him that his father and I had not planned to have him and that abortion had been my first thought when I looked at my positive pregnancy test back in June of 2000. How could I look at my loving son in the eyes and tell him that I didn’t originally jump for joy and then happily announce the news to the whole world?

Obviously, I ended up changing my mind about getting an abortion and have absolutely no regrets about my decision."

This is Chantal's beautifully told, true story, of having her son and all the experiences of raising him.

"I don’t know what I would do without him.
Being a mother is truly the most wonderful thing in the world."

Your heart will be touched!
An inspirational true story!

About the Author
I am a multi-genre author who always loved to write but never thought about publishing anything until a friend of mine told me I should.

Before that, I was more interested in acting. I performed in a couple of amateur stage showed and joined a Youth run Theatre Company. I was also an extra in a few commercials, TV shows and movies.

My love for acting soon got replaced with the love for my son. I made him my number one priority. I found it easier to write on my spare time than to work around other people's schedules to act. I found that I had to use some of my acting training to write since I had to put myself in the shoes of the characters I created.

I currently have 8 books available to purchase and write short stories for The Suburban's Online Magazine.

Some of my work was also featured in Aspiring to Inspire Anthology as well ad Words of Fire and Ice.

My memoir of motherhood was included in the compilation book They Call me Mamma Bear, put together by author Amber Royce.

While I continue to come up with stories, I encourage my son to so some writing of his own since he is full of good ideas and has a big imagination. He reminds me of myself as a child.

I am a single mom and feel very lucky to have Aidan in my life.

At First Sight
by Mya O'Malley

Modern love can be a headache. Just ask Annie Morgan, who, recently divorced, finds herself in the middle of the proverbial online dating jungle.

Making a deal with her best friend, Annie agrees to go out on exactly five online dates out of seventy-six potential suitors.

Shane Nicholls was jaded, he had his heart broken and never got over the hurt. Now, convinced that all women are trouble, he avoids drama at any cost.

Funny thing is, drama seems to find Shane around every corner.

Can Annie, a romantic at heart, find love online or will she find love at first sight the old-fashioned way, by awkward, chance meetings with Shane Nicholls?

Through a number of obstacles and heartache, Annie and Shane find that love at first sight really does exist if you truly believe.

Excerpt: Johnny’s was packed. Standing on line to place her order, Annie took in her surroundings. Just as the owner, Johnny, was coming over to take her order, something caught Annie’s eye. The guy near the window, he seemed familiar somehow. Where had she seen him before? He was eating dinner with a pretty brunette. He lifted his head to look at Annie as their eyes locked. On no! It was the guy from the mall, the one she bumped into. She quickly spun around, knocking right into the waitress who was carrying a tray of soft drinks. Soda soaked her shirt and dripped onto the floor. The waitress was clearly annoyed and appeared like she would have loved to tell Annie off. Instead she rolled her eyes and ran to get a towel. If Annie thought she was embarrassed before, it was nothing compared to how she felt now. Every eye in the place was on her, including the guy from the mall. Helpless to do anything else, she grabbed some napkins and bent down to sop up some of the mess. “It seems you have a knack for causing a scene everywhere you go.” It was his voice. The voice that filled her head with inappropriate thoughts, with longing. What was she thinking? Did she dare look up? His gaze was a magnet, forcing her to meet his eyes. His eyes were a warmer brown than she had remembered, drawing her in. “I...uh...” “I’m joking. Here, let me help you with that.” He grabbed the napkins from her hand. The heat between them jolted her back. She moved quickly, surprised he could evoke such a reaction from her. Nobody had ever made her feel so exposed before. What was going on here? Annie felt foolish. “I’m Shane. Shane Nicholls.” He extended his hand to her. They must have appeared to be quite the sight, bending over to clean up the mess while shaking hands. “Annie.” Annie remembered her new rules of safety in the dating world. One of them was she would not reveal her last name or any other personal information until she was sure the guy wasn’t a stalker or anything. “Annie. It suits you, I like it.” Annie had almost forgot about the woman waiting for Shane at the table near the window. She glanced over and took in a tight-lipped woman. It hit Annie that this woman was not the same stunning woman from the mall. Hmm, she had met his type before. This guy had “player” written all over him. She quickly brushed herself off and excused herself. “Hey, Annie. Wait.” He reached for her hand. Annie forgot all about placing her order and made a beeline for the door. She didn’t look back. Well, Annie figured, it looked like it would be Chinese food tonight.

Meet Robert Gioia

0 comments
Robert Gioia has been a police officer in the province of Ontario for over 24 years. He has spent several years as a school liaison officer addressing criminal complaints and specializing in presenting to youths on many topics.

Robert created numerous presentations for the V.I.P. (Values, Influences and Peers) program which reflect the moral dilemmas and dangers faced by our youth today. These include Internet Safety, Drugs, Mischief, Theft, Alcohol, Tobacco, and Bullying.

Bullying in particular seems more problematic as it has transformed with the advent and progress of the internet. As a result, society has been inundated with instances of bullying that appear to have increased at an exponential rate.

In order to address this, the author created a story (The Bully Barn)that will assist in teaching youths and their parents about bullying in a an entertaining fashion.

TEN FUN THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ROBERT

-I have been a police officer for almost 25 years and served in several areas (I was actually a tactical officer for many years) but the most rewarding was my tenure as a school liaison/resource officer.

-I have delivered hundreds of presentations to students, parents, and various interest groups regarding bullying, internet safety, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, theft, mischief, etc. I also created and helped to present project "I.S.S.U.E." (Internet Safety and Sensible Use of Electronics) city wide.

-I have a lovely wife and a typical 12-year-old son.

-I love animals and have little regard for those who treat them poorly.

-I have a Basset Hound named Cosmo (I previously had one called Jethro). Cosmo loves sleeping on his outdoor couch (picture enclosed for your enjoyment).

-I love hanging around nature and frequently take walks in the bush and play with my son on the beach.

-I like trees (my wife thinks that I may have a problem) and I planted a couple hundred (or so) in and around my property. I live on the fringe of the city on three acres.

-I like fishing but rarely catch anything (that's probably why no one wants to go with me).

-I believe that you can't force kids to "like" each other but you can teach and expect them to "tolerate" one another.

-I don't believe there is such a thing as a bad child...just bad choices (and sometimes bad parents)

The Bully Barn:
A Lesson For Bullies, Bystanders and Victims

Marty is small, timid, and meek...after all he is a mouse.

As he goes about his daily life in the barn the other animals pick on him, ridicule him and push him around...

Read about Marty the mouse, Owen the owl,  Rusty the rooster, Henry the horse, the gossiping chickens, and others...

And how they all react on the day that Rusty doesn't crow.

Engaging illustrations!
A great story of standing up for yourself!

You will learn about verbal bullies, social bullies and physical bullies and those who stand by either ignoring or encouraging the bullying.

GREAT discussion questions at the end~

EVERY PERSON WHO LOVES A CHILD
SHOULD READ THIS BOOK WITH THEM!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Not the typical children’s story.
In fact, this book was specifically written to be used by parents and teachers to help teach children about bullying and the repercussions that come with being a part of the bullying cycle.
Bullying is by far one of the greatest problems facing our society today. It is of grave concern to children, educators, and parents alike.
Bullying has become somewhat of an epidemic perhaps due in part to our violent subculture and the increasing dependence on the internet for interpersonal communication."
"EDUCATION IS THE KEY"
