Shine!

Sister Dalton wrote this book specifically for the young women of the church. But, we can all learn from the lessons she presents.

My favorite story in the book:

When her daughter, Emi,
was a little girl Sister Dalton

would help her get ready for
church by combing her hair

 and putting her in a pretty dress. 

Then Emi would say,
 "Let's put on our shiny."

 

With this Sister Dalton would get
her jar of clear cosmetics

and apply it to Emi's cheeks
and lips giving her a shiny glow.

 

 

As we follow the principles in this book we will all glow with the spirit of the Lord.

 

In essence we can all put our shiny-on!"
