by Cami Checketts

Snow Valley's new pediatric dentist, McCoy Wilson, is in debt and stress taller than his beat-up Chevy. The last thing he needs is a beautiful assistant who he's drastically overpaying.

Chanel Horman prays moving to Snow Valley after her husband's death will give her and her son a fresh start. A hunky new boss isn't in the plans, but she'll have to find some way to work with McCoy without melting at his gentle smiles or she'll be in trouble deeper than the snow drifts.

SUMMER IN SNOW VALLEY
The #1 Bestselling Amazon Authors of Christmas in Snow Valley,
have teamed up again with six wonderful summer romances
that are sure to make your summer sweet and sassy!

Catching Caytie by Cindy Roland Anderson
On the night Caytie Holbrook intends to break up with her cheating boyfriend, he blindsides her by announcing their engagement at a dinner party. When Caytie discovers her father is in on the scheme, she runs away from her home in Beverly Hills to hide out at her uncle’s ranch in Snow Valley,
Montana. While Snow Valley is a beautiful place, Caytie only plans to stay until her twenty-fifth birthday when she’ll inherit a trust fund her grandmother left her, allowing her to pursue her dream to move to Italy. That is until she meets Jace McAllister, an incredibly sexy—although somewhat grumpy—cowboy who threatens to disrupt her plans. Such an ADORABLE story to start this book with! LOVED IT! It was fun to see how the author took both of the characters from unstable backgrounds and had them become better because of it- to make a change instead of using it as an excuse to follow in their parents behavior. I also enjoyed the small love triangle--I did like the outcome so very much! However, it would be fun to see the author write another story with the outcome of the "other man" getting the girl- that would make a great story too.  SO. SO. SO. ENJOYED. this story!

Tin Foil Tiaras by Jeanette Lewis
Cameron Elliott has come to Snow Valley to coach Annalisa Drake in the Miss Snow Valley pageant, and prove to her demanding boss that she deserves a place at the prestigious Westbrooke Agency. But Annalisa’s handsome and protective big brother, Kyle, is determined to keep his sister from becoming a reluctant beauty queen. As Cameron tries to win Kyle over, Kyle insists some things are more valuable than a title and as crazy as it sounds, Cameron might just believe him. The stories continue to be FANTASTIC! SO LOVED the theme of the beauty pageant. I always wanted to be a beauty queen :) This brought out so many sides of the pageant and how hard it can be and how much they have to work--and how it has to be what they really want to do; not just something they do to please someone else. SO WELL WRITTEN! LOVED the big brother affection Kyle gave to Annalisa...and the sparks between Cameron and Kyle...oh yeah...this one is a true must read!

A Touch of Love by  Cami Checketts
Annie Stirland has endured a lifetime of teasing, embarrassment, and isolation due to her speech impediment. When irresistible cowboy, Luke Wilson, seems to be falling for her, she’s certain he’s too good to be true. A tragedy involving his ex-girlfriend proves she’s right. What man can resist sheltering someone they once loved? Annie knows she should walk away, but Luke isn’t ready to give her up. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS ONE! SO WONDERFUL! Couldn't stop reading! WOW! So tender. So fun. So. So. So. Good! It is amazing how a good man can help you--and to have that man love you--all the better! Another FABULOUS addition to this set!

First Love; Love First by Taylor Hart
Janet Snow doesn’t expect to get caught in a full-blown make out session at her brother’s wedding. Especially not with Michael Hamilton, the boy she’d written off ten years ago. Even though they both agree to no complications, Janet's not sure they can stick to it given their past. After a trip to the hot springs, a helicopter ride, and a proposal, even the most cautious single mother would start to wonder if true love really is just about the timing. Now Janet has to make a choice—play it safe or trust that her first love could also be her last. WOW! This one will have you laughing, crying, sighing, giggling, and clapping--So PHENOMENAL! LOVED IT! What a GREAT STORY! Would LOVE to have more of this one to see where it leads to next!

Romancing Rebecca by Kimberley Montpetit
Rebecca Dash loved spending her teen summers swooning over Jane Austin and helping her aunt at the Starry Skies Bed & Breakfast in Snow Valley. But as a recent college grad, she’d rather write sappy romance novels than go out with guys that make her a nervous wreck. When a team of fire-fighters set up camp on the lawns of the B&B and Captain Wade catches her eye, Becca soon learns that there’s more to a happily-ever-after than a flirty firemen with muscles the size of the Montana hills. A COMPLETELY DELIGHTFUL STORY! I loved that the young Becca was trying to write a romance novel and using examples all around her realizing that she couldn't get it right because she didn't have any experience in this area...that is until this summer...You will LOVE this one!

Love in Light and Shadow by Lucy McConnell
Mercedes O'Shay has sworn off gorgeous men because they have a tendency to break her heart. When she meets her new neighbor, Chet Bauer, she immediately puts him in the Do Not Date category based on his well-defined muscles and stunning blue eyes. But the more Mercedes learns about the cowboy who reads classics and forges iron, the more she realizes the heart doesn't see in black and white; it sees light and shadows. What a CAPTIVATING STORY! LOVED IT! Mercedes thinks she wants one thing, but her heart is trying to lead her somewhere else--makes for some great scenes! I so enjoyed the idea of two girls moving from the city to the country and trying to embrace this new lifestyle--so much fun! And to watch the men in this story fall for these two new girls--so entertaining! DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!

This series is called the Tenderness and Terror series and that is exactly what it is!

One minute you will be on the edge of your seat in terror biting your nails anxious to see what happens...

The next minute you will be engaged in a most romantic setting where your heart will melt with tenderness towards the characters.

Alex LOVES his sister and will do anything for her...even kill for her...And that is exactly what he has done.

Trying to redeem himself from his past he joins forces with the FBI.

His current assignment has him protecting a beautiful woman, Brittany, and her darling daughter, Savannah, against the powerful mayor Steven Sherman, who is doing things a mayor shouldn't be doing.

Brittany witnessed something she shouldn't and is now on the run.

People tell her she shouldn't trust Alex because of his past, but she sees so much good in him and doesn't feel threatened like she does with her own ex-husband.

Detective Scott Bentley just wants to live peacefully on his ranch and has put law enforcement behind him...but now he has been asked to house and protect Brittany with the help of Alex.

Scott is also sent another helper by the name of Ivy who is one of the best computer hackers there are.

As Scott and Ivy work together they start to have feelings for each other...

Only problem is...Ivy is in protective custody and when the situation is all cleared up...she will again disappear.

A little girl and 4 other lives all entangled together to prove that "it might take more than a hit man and a hacker to save the day..."

Could love possibly "Redeem This?"

What a GREAT story!
Romantic Suspense at its FINEST!
LOVED. LOVED. LOVED. IT!

About the Authors
Sherry Gammon
Sherry and her wonderfully supportive husband, currently call Upstate New York home, which is also the setting for her novels. It is where they are raising their family. Sherry has a degree in Legal Assisting, and served as a medical technician in the Air Force. She and her husband worked in foster care for a number of years, from which they adopted their youngest son. She has worked in the education system for a number of years, and is currently lucky enough to be teaching teenage girls, ages 12-18. She has lived in Michigan, California, Utah, Texas, Pennsylvania, and the beautiful, but over-taxed state of New York where she has spent the last eleven years, and now considers home. It is where she spends her nights writing instead of sleeping :}

Amberlee Day
Hi, I'm Amberlee Day. I love romantic novels and movies, but I don't need those steamy scenes. How do you keep a clean romance interesting? Make it fun! Romance and humor make an irresistible combination. Don't believe me? Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is both beautiful and hilarious, and I think she's the authority on romantic novels. The end. I live in an evergreen forest in Washington state, where I love roaming the woods and exploring the beaches. Many of my stories are set in the Pacific Northwest, because all this beauty sets my imagination flying. I love pizza more than I can say without slipping into Italian, or Elvish. I believe there will be chocolate and puppies in heaven. Also books, because what would heaven be without a library? My husband and I share our forest home with five kids, two dogs, and a carpet that we won't bother replacing until at least one of those numbers change.

Cami Checketts
Cami Checketts is married and the proud mother of four future WWF champions. Sometimes between being a human horse, cleaning up magic potions, and reading Bernstein Bears, she gets the chance to write fiction. Cami graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Exercise Science. She teaches strength training at her local rec and shares health and fitness articles at http://fitnessformom.blogspot.com. Cami and her family live in the beautiful Cache Valley of Northern Utah. During the two months of the year it isn't snowing, she enjoys swimming, biking, running, and water-skiing.

Taylor Hart
Taylor Hart has always been drawn to a good love triangle, hot chocolate and long conversations with new friends. Writing has always been a passion that has consumed her daydreams and forced her to sit in a trance for long hours, completely obsessed with people that don't really exist. Taylor would have been a country star if she could have carried a tune--maybe in the next life.

Lucy McConnell
Lucy McConnell is an Amazon Best Selling Contemporary Romance Author.
She started out as an editor at an advertising agency before moving on to teach in the marketing department of the local community college. She loved teaching and often misses the academic environment. After her third child was born, Lucy retired from teaching and began to write. She has been published in national magazines, newspapers, short story compilations, and she writes cookbooks under the name Christina Dymock. Lucy has a handsome husband and four amazing children. She works as a Recreation Specialist, marketing copywriter, and author. If she's not at the computer, you can find her on the ski slopes, in a boat, in the kitchen, or in the stands watching one of her children bat, dribble, or play goalie.

In honor of the angels in Of Love & Magic, Christina Dymock with Hungry Family has created an amazing chocolate angel cake recipe.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup egg whites (10-12 large eggs)
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup flour
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 ounces milk chocolate, shredded
2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions
Place the egg whites and cream of tartar in a metal mixing bowl. Beat until stiff peaks form and the whites are glossy. Add the vanilla and beat well.

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, powdered sugar, cocoa, baking soda, salt, and shredded chocolate. Fold 1/2 cup of the powdered mixture into the egg whites. Repeat until all the flour mixture is incorporated into the eggs.

Pour batter into a non-stick angel food cake or bunt cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 -35 minutes or until cake springs back. Run a knife around the edge of the pan and invert the pan onto a funnel or cup and allow to cool for 2 hours. Remove the cake from the pan and serve with fresh whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

She has a husband, a house on the beach, and is acting at the local theater.

So why is she attracted to the good-looking man at the gym...

And then to have him show up at the theater just after the threatening notes do?

It is all so unsettling...

AND THEN...

Emmy's life turns into a nightmare with the brutal murder of her husband.

Does she have a stalker?
Is it the man from the gym?

A year goes by and nothing is found out and the threatening letters stop...

THAT IS UNTIL...

Josh keeps turning up in her life.

"If Emmy allows another man to get too close, it might not just her heart she puts at risk, it might be her life."

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!
SO WORTH READING!

Time is running out as Jake, Chanel, and Ruby desperately search for clues to solve the murders and fight to save those they love.

The Colony

Running Home

Book Details:
Author: Cami Checketts
Release Date: April 2013
Publisher: Birch River Publishing
Genre: Romantic Suspense

I LOVE the Run Series!
It starts with Dead Running which has Cassidy training for a marathon and running from the mercenaries who are now trying to capture her.

Then in book two, Dying to Run, Cassidy is still running from the traffickers who killed her mother and falling in love with a man she isn't quite sure she can trust.

Now in book three, Running Home, Cassidy has joined the man she loves in central Mexico where she also falls in love with the people who are being captured for human trafficking.

But her own life, and the life of her family and friends is continually put in danger.

Now she must choose...

Does she stay with the man she loves and help with the war against trafficking?
OR
Does she ask him to leave it all for her?
OR
Does she leave her heart in Mexico and go back home to America-- alone?

SO GOOD! Lots of suspense! Lots of romance! Lots of fun, fun reading!

Cami Checketts in an AMAZING author!
Dead Running was my VERY FIRST BLOG POST...
The book was SO GOOD I wanted to tell EVERYONE about it...
And from that one post...my blog has taken off :)
To read my review of Dead Running click HERE

Dying to Run
Author: Cami Checketets
Release Date: Oct 2012
Publisher: Birch River
Genre: Romantic Suspense

Book Description:
Cassidy Christensen wants to run.
Captured by the traffickers who killed her mother, her only hope is Dr. Tattoo, a man she loves but nobody trusts. When she finally gets a chance to run, someone else she cares about is taken. Running might be her only chance at survival, but she won’t allow another family member to be killed in her place.

This must-read sequel to Dead Running will have you laughing, biting your nails, and hoping for more.

My Review:
It has been two weeks since someone has tried to kill Cassidy...and now they are back!
Again this book grabs you with the action starting on page ONE...the action is non-stop...SO GOOD!
Splashes of romance create a reprieve from the action...but can Cassie really love the man she thought she loved after seeing what he is capable of doing?
It's true... this book will have you "laughing, biting your nails, and (definitely) hoping for more."

It's a NEW YEAR and here are the TEN GOALS Cami has made:

1.      I hate to start with the least fun goal, but I promise this is the year I’m going to get my ice cream/chocolate addiction under control. Only one reasonably-sized serving per day. You may laugh, but this is a lofty goal for me.

2.      Be a more fun Mom. My boys are hilarious without any help from me, so all I have to do is not be the grump – laugh at 14yo’s political jokes (okay, not always easy), at least chuckle at 10yo’s potty humor (yes, getting tougher), chase the 6yo around, tackle and tickle him (aren’t I getting a bit old for that sort of thing?), and peek-a-boo with the baby (finally, an easy job).

3.      Write, write, write. Finish book three in the Dead Running trilogy. Polish Blog This and get it sent off. Actually start something new.

4.      Run three marathons. Now I know that sounds a bit insane (at least to me) but once you’ve trained for one marathon you might as well go for it and keep on running them. Right, right? Is anyone out there agreeing with me because I’m doubting myself a bit on this one. If I change it to three half-marathons will you all be disappointed?

5.      Serve more. At least once a week do each of the following: take bread or treats to someone, visit one of our adopted Grandmas, and be observant enough to fill a need I see.

6.      Halfway through and I’m starting to sweat, I thought this would be easier! Okay, number six will be: Ponder my scriptures instead of just rushing through each chapter. I think for this to be effective I will keep a notebook with my scriptures and write down thoughts and how the scriptures relate to me.

7.      Do the Lord’s will instead of my own. I always want to do this, but usually get so busy with my own to-do list that I don’t listen.

8.      This should not be number eight, please don’t any of you tell my cute honey that he is number eight on the list because he truly is the most important person to me in the world and rarely gets the attention he deserves. My goal for my husband is to be thrilled with each moment I get with him and not nag about the holes in the sheetrock (but seriously, we have four boys, you should see the size of those holes).

9.      Savor the moments. I often have so many things going through my brain I miss out on the great people and experiences that surround me. I’m going to try to slow down and savor what matters most.

10.  Be truly kind. Whenever we ask my 6yo to answer any gospel-related question he says: Be Kind! Most of the time it fits. I want to be kind in my thoughts and actions. I don’t want to waste time judging or questioning, but focus on positive thoughts and feelings.

The Broken Path

Cami Checketts is one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITE AUTHORS!

I finished ANOTHER one of her books tonight!

AND I am posting a Blog Tour post tomorrow for her new book Dying to Run...So check back to read about that :)

The Broken Path is SO GOOD!
Cami has a way of writing that pulls you in and and captivates you until you know how it ends...
In other words...You CAN'T put the book down!

Autumn has moved back to her home town with her little girl. She is divorced and is trying to make a good life for her and her little girl. She is determined to do it on her own...no man needed; nor trusted, ever again.

Ethan, or Effan as little Brittan calls him, was severely hurt in an accident when he was little and can't picture a woman ever wanting him and his deformed legs.

But...

No one planned on Brittan falling in love with Effan and pulling her mother along :)

Everyone can see how happy they would be together as a family...

If only Autumns' heart can get past the mistrust of her ex-husband, Trent.

Mystery, suspense, romance, and love of a child make this a MUST READ!

Dead Running

I really, really liked this book!

Page one already grabs you with the suspense!

Along the way you will find humor and romance and even more suspense...

Then you will be "running" right along with Cassidy as she trains for her marathon...

But is she "running" to the right person for help OR "running" away from the wrong person who is trying to hurt her and her family....

Twists and turns keep you guessing...

A quick read...because you can't put it down!
