Prejudice Meets Pride
~COVER REVEAL~
Prejudice Meets Pride
by Rachael Anderson

After years of pinching pennies and struggling to get through art school, Emma Makie’s hard work finally pays off in the form of a dream job offer. But when tragedy strikes, she has no choice but to turn down the job and make a cross-country move to Colorado Springs to take temporary custody of her two nieces. She has no money, no job prospects, and no idea how to be a mother to two little girls, but she isn’t about to let that stop her. Nor is she about to accept the help or of her handsome new neighbor, who seems to think she’s incapable of doing anything on her own.

Fun, heartwarming, and romantic, Prejudice Meets Pride is the story of a guy who thinks he has it all figured out and a girl who isn't afraid to show him that he doesn't. It’s about learning what it means to trust, figuring out how to give and to take, and realizing that not everyone gets to pick the person they fall in love with. Sometimes, love picks them.

RachaelAuthor Rachael Anderson USA Today bestselling author Rachael Anderson is the mother of four and is pretty good at breaking up fights, or at least sending guilty parties to their rooms. She can't sing, doesn't dance, and despises tragedies. But she recently figured out how yeast works and can now make homemade bread, which she is really good at eating.

Book Details
Author: Robert Hardman
Release Date: January 2014
Genre: Fiction

VERY FUN book!
A quick read of CrEaTiViTy!

Red pen, black pen, pencil, paper, and writer all sit at the desk.

The deadline is coming, but thoughts are not...

"Reaching over to the jar, Tim pulls out the pencil and presses it against the paper ready to release the words from within..."

Then he "slowly lays the pencil to rest."

"With the moment lost, inspiration turns to desperation, then hope..."

as Tim opens the box from under the Christmas tree.

It is a laptop...

"...it looks so isolated, so out of place and so alone in Tim's timeless world, yet with pressure mounting...the moment of truth now looms near...he needs a second or two...so disappears off into the kitchen..."

And with that red pen, black pen and pencil race into action...

They cannot be replaced so easily!

Read to find out if pencil 2B will continue to be...

VERY WELL WRITTEN!
A book you will talk about!

About the Author
Amber Gilchrist lives in New Mexico with her husband and three children. She writes YA for upper teens, as well as LDS Romantic Comedies. She calls her lifetime of jumping from one job to another 'experience' for her books and not an inability to settle down. Amber loves mysteries and a good, happy romance. She also loves to laugh. Sometimes she likes all of them together.

A fan of quirky movies and indie books, Amber likes to be with her family, is socially inept, and fears strangers and small yippy dogs. She alternates between writing and being a mom and wife. She tries to do both at the same time but her kids don't appreciate being served lunch and told, "This is the hot dog of your discontent." So mostly she writes when everyone else is in bed.

I've said it before...
and I am going to say it again...

I LOVE SARAH M. EDEN'S BOOKS!

I love the way she writes!
I love the stories she chooses!

While this setting is different from her other "proper romances" set in England.

I LOVE the ruggedness of this Wyoming setting.

I love the hardships.

I love the way she portrays the feud between the Irish Road and the Red Road.

I love the determination of one woman trying to bring everyone together even though her life is probably the hardest hit.

Katie gave up her dream to go back to Ireland for she believes that HOPE Springs eternal...

She wants to make her life here...but with whom.

Her heart is torn between two good men.

Both make her happy...but which one is truly 'the one that will make her complete?'

The troubles seem to be escalating...stealing property, burning building, etc.

Joseph is afraid that a life will probably have to be lost before the feud will end.

Can he be right or can Katie help soften hearts and bring the town together at last?

Habits of Happiness

Author: Wendy Ulrich

This book is INCREDIBLE!

Things I would NEVER think of doing to increase happiness

Here is her list:

*Don't worry about your weaknesses
*Don't try to get motivated to exercise
*Stop hoping to find friends
*Don't try to be happy
*Celebrate failures
*Don't try to get help with your problems
*Don't endure to the end

The information about this list and the things Wendy includes I believe to be TRUE!

It makes SO MUCH SENSE!

Some of my favorite quotes:

"Allow the feeling of gratitude to surround your problems."

"Live is to be enjoyed, not just endured."

Let the habits of happiness begin...

Making It Through the Middle

Book Details
Author: Emily Freeman
Release Date: January 2013
Publisher: Deseret Book
Genre: Inspiration

This book was written just for ME!
I need this book right now!

For I am in a 'middle'~
I am struggling with this 'middle'~
I am anxious to get out of this 'middle'~

I LEARNED SO MUCH FROM THIS BOOK!

LOVED this question:
"Have you ever noticed that when people talk abut their trials in a public setting, they tend to focus on what happened at the end? They talk about the miracle, the promise, the way it all worked out."

It's so TRUE!

"It isn't often that people talk about what happened in the MIDDLE of the trial!"

This book gives us HOPE!

Personal stories and scriptures are taught to bring us lessons that WILL HELP us through the "middle moments of our lives."

Two quotes I really needed to hear:

"Sometimes He refines us in ways we might not have wanted
because he needs to use us in ways we might not have thought."

"When you can't see God's hand, trust His heart."

If you or someone you know is going through a "middle" this book will bring you/them perspective and peace.

About the Author
Emily Freeman took her first creative writing class in high school and has loved writing ever since. She finds great joy in studying the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Her deep love of the scriptures comes from a desire to find their application in everyday life. She is the author of several books, including The Ten Virgins; 21 Days Closer to Christ; and The Promise of Enough. There is nothing Emily enjoys more for breakfast than a bowl of vanilla ice cream, raspberries, and chocolate chips. Other favorites include parades, vacations, firework displays, and going for a long walk with a good friend. Emily and her husband, Greg, live in Lehi, Utah, with their four children, whom she adores.
