BENEATH THE BELLEMONT SKY
by RaneƩ S. Clark

As WWII draws to a close, war widow Vera Larsen Trumbell knows all too well the sacrifices of those left on the home front. Working on her family's farm has sustained Vera and her young children, but she now years for a sense of normalcy. The end of the war has been bittersweet for the Larsen clan as they and the residents of their small Wyoming town continue to pick up the pieces of their former lives.

Navigating the complexities of a postwar world, Vera and her family face the changing ideals swirling around them. From rising controversy surrounding women's presence in the workplace to the town's cold reception of the newest member of the family—a beautiful French freedom fighter—the American dream of days gone by has been thrown off balance. Even Vera's own life is set spinning when, despite her better judgment, she feels a growing attraction for the brooding and mysterious local schoolteacher.

Chase Moon hates weddings--but a guy can't avoid his brother's marriage so he's got to man up and show up. Thank goodness he did, otherwise he might have missed meeting the intriguing Autumn Lane. Looking for another opportunity to make her smile, he decides to visit her at the flower shop where she works, only to find some idiot trying to manhandle her into his car. Chase takes matters into his own hands by kicking said idiot onto his rear, ticking off Autumn who insisted she had the situation handled.

Autumn Lane has a plan in life and it doesn't include her ex fiance or some ex bronc rider thinking he has to protect her. Unfortunately, her life plan is blown up at the moment. After being left no other option then to help Chase Moon rally investors to start his his business, she ends up flying to LA to pitch his company to investors. Along the way, they end up as contestants on The Price is Right, on a moonlit beach, and at a dance club on top of a hotel roof in each other’s arms. Too bad just when things are starting to come together with the business and between she and Chase…the ex fiance threatens Chase with assault charges. The idiot offers to drop it all if Autumn will accompany him to the Governor's ball.

Chase hates the idea of Autumn with her ex, but he has a choice to make--trust his instincts or only wish he was the better man.

5 Temptation Killers

5 TEMPTATION KILLERS
by Hank Smith

Freedom to choose is an essential part of our Heavenly Father’s plan.

Quoting from Dumbledore, Hank Smith reminds us that “it is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” Unfortunately, we don’t always make the best choices. “We are all going to be tempted and sometimes we might give in and fall,” says Brother Smith, “but we don’t have to.”

Drawing on stories from the scriptures, real-life examples, and his trademark sense of humor, Brother Smith shares five powerful “temptation killers” that can help youth deal with the “opposition in all things” that is part of our earthly existence.

“I want to give you some ways to overcome temptations so you can become the missionary you were meant to be, so you can become the mom you were meant to be, so you can become the example you were meant to be if you can get by these things,” says Brother Smith.

Once again, Hank Smith delivers a timely message that will be a great blessing for youth and parents alike.
