I LOVE conversion stories!
I find them very faith promoting and helpful in defining my own convictions.
I LOVE reading about miracles and visions and circumstances that shaped the thoughts and feelings of the early converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
These converts lived in a time of "religious liberalism vs. orthodoxy...a period of dynamic contrasts in religious beliefs, fiery sermons, and real people."
Today we call it "a time of restoration."
This book has "forty-eight journal accounts" of those that were there during this period....
You will read about their encounters with missionaries, Joseph Smith, heavenly messengers, and what has been termed as "the Golden Bible."
These accounts are from real people telling a marvelous happening in their lives...
Something that happened to them that will help "strengthen your testimony" and develop the "seeds of (your) faith."
A BOOK WORTH READING!
