About the Author
Emily H. Bates grew up in Northern California, where she spent much of her young life happily closeted away with a book. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in German Linguistics, married a dashing young man from her study abroad in Germany, and now writes novels in English. She currently resides in Washington with her husband and her very busy daughter.

FUN FACTS ABOUT EMILY

1. I love music and have, at various times of my life, played piano, clarinet, bass clarinet, trumpet, guitar, organ, and harmonica.

2. I have 13 Harry Potter books on my shelf: the series, an extra book 7, a UK book 7, books 1 and 3 in German, plus Fantastic Beasts and Quidditch Through the Ages.

3. I am incapable of whistling.

4. I'm one of those people who listen to Christmas music all year round.

5. I wanted to be an astronaut when I was a kid.

6. Therefore, the first "novel" I ever wrote was about kid astronauts going through a wormhole.

7. I've recently developed an obsession with crocheting, and I have totally mastered the magic loop. Sort of.

8. I will only eat bananas if they are properly green and paired with Nutella. Once bananas start getting all yellow and brown, I can't even handle the smell.

9. Sometimes I read the Chicago Manual of Style for fun. Yes, I know.

10. I have brainwashed my daughter well. At a year old, her favorite thing to do is sit in a corner and read books.

Praise for Uncovering Cobbogoth
"This book takes you on a wonderful ride, bringing myth and legend to life. The characters are full and flawed, with a sweet romance woven through the adventure." - Annette K. Larsen, author of Just Ella

About the Author
Hannah L. Clark lives with her husband and their son in the Rocky Mountains. She has always known she would be a storyteller. In 2006 she graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelor’s degree in English and immediately began writing Uncovering Cobbogoth, the first book in a seven book series based on Clark's mythological brain-child, the Icelandic Legend of the Cobbogothians. Clark loves her family, running, mythology, laughing, soulful bluegrass music, road-trips, studying alternative medicine, retro hairdos, and growing things. Like her heroine Norah, she also kind of believes trees have souls, but must clarify (for her parents' sakes) that she was not raised by hippies. ;-)

About the Author
Laura Stoddard was born in Idaho and spent her formative years running amok in the great outdoors. She received her bachelors degree in English Literature from Arizona State University. After being rejected from the masters program for creative writing she decided that she didn't need a masters degree to tell her she could write, so she started really dedicating her time to finishing the story she'd started months earlier, with the goal of writing a complete novel, and getting it published. The result is her debut novel, The Dreamosphere, for which her own vivid, bizarre, and incomprehensible dreams provided the inspiration. Laura is an adrenaline junkie and will try anything once--or twice--or maybe three times. She can already check whitewater rafting, going down in a shark cage, and skydiving (three times) off of her list. Oh, and getting Lasik. It was five minutes of terror. She enjoys hiking, rowing, reading classic literature, embarking on new adventures and hobbies, volunteering regularly, and spending time with family. She currently resides in Phoenix, Ariz. You can follow Laura on her WEBSITE.

I LOVED this book!
A LOT of FANTASTIC SCENES, filled with tongue-in-cheek humor, are found in these pages!
OH. SO. GOOD!

If you have read Tales of the Dragon's Bard: Eventide, then you have met our meddling story-teller, Edvard. He is only trying to NOT be eaten by providing wonderful stories for the dragon.

And he especially loves to meddle in stories that involve 'matters-of-the-heart!
So he seduces a poor village girl, Vestia, and arranges a marriage between her and Percival Taylor....But Percival wants to seek his own fortune! (Read my review of Eventide HERE)

A chance meeting between Percival, Madame Zoltana and a deck of cards tells Percival that he must find his destiny at sea!

How can he become a legendary pirate and win the heart of the beautiful Tuppence, the girl of his dreams...the one that he just met, if no one will let him even near a ship in the port of Blackshore?

And to top that off, the Dragon Bard, along with his scribe, have finally caught up to him in hopes of bringing him back to Eventide. However, Edvard realizes a story might be in the making right here in Blackshore.

Alas, Edvard summons Vestia to come to Blackshore, while Percival finally gets a broken down ship along with a very INTERESTING and HILARIOUS crew!

And what of Tuppence? She is the governors daughter and the first lady of Blackshore. She is suppose to be bred in all of the finest things. However she fancies the forbidden and the scoundrels...

So when she reads a book written by the Dragon's Bard, and runs into Percival who just happens to look just like the pirate in the book, she will do anything to become the love of said pirate...even go so far as to kidnap herself.

When the two women meet, and fight over Percival, he comes to understand "why men go to sea."

Strange characters you will find as you sail along with Percival in hopes of finding treasure and romance!
It is your destiny to read this book and be "swept up by the sea."

A FUN, FUN READ!
LOVED IT!
