Each story is unique and true--things I really love! I have read many of the books these authors have written and was thrilled to read this Christmas collection from them. This would make a GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT for anyone on your list--including yourself! Don't miss out on these tender stories!

MIGHTY MIRACLES
by Breanna Olaveson

We live in a day of miracles and as President Spencer W. Kimball stated these miracles are recorded "in the records of the Church, in journals, in news and magazine articles and in the minds and memories of many people."

But we must look for the miracles and believe that they truly are miracles.

This AMAZING book tells of the life of Elder Matthew Cowley...specifically of his mission, his time as a Mission President, and of his call to be an Apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and of some of the miracles he witnessed and took part in.

Each chapter is a "vignette, taken from personal journals and correspondence, as well as the treasured memories of those who knew him best."

You will read of his "early missionary work with the Maori people of New Zealand," where he blessed many people, was healed himself, and where he grew to love the Maori language so well that he assisted in the new translation of the Book of Mormon so the people of New Zealand might understand its teachings.

You will see his true character as you learn of his marriage to his wife and of their struggle to have children...while at the same time he was blessing others to be able to have children.

You will then learn of his call back to New Zealand as a Mission President and the many people he blessed including a young man whose life was saved due to the council President Cowley gave him.

And as an Apostle, Elder Cowley continued to bless "the lives of Church members around the world with his gifts of faith and healing."

As you read of these miracles you will hopefully be able to see the MIGHTY MIRACLES in your own life.

This book is WONDERFULLY TOUCHING and INSPIRING!
Well-written and well-presented this is a book worth reading!
DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!

About the Author
Breanna Bennett Olaveson was first published at age ten when a column she wrote was featured in the Ricks College student-produced newspaper, the Scroll. Nine years later she became editor of the Scroll and built a small writing portfolio as she pursued a degree in mass media.

Her time on the Scroll led her to both her husband, Ryan, and an internship at LDS Church Magazines. A side assignment while working at the Liahona awakened in Breanna a passion for Church history and a desire to share it in a style accessible to her generation. Her first book was born shortly after her first child.

Breanna's work has appeared in various publications, including the Liahona, Ensign, New Era, Utah Valley Magazine, the Provo Daily Herald, and UtahValley360.com, where she is a regular contributor.
