When she decides she wants to stay with the team no matter what she will need to re-evaluate the soccer sister code...can she keep it on the field?

This would be a perfect series to read during summer break!

About the Author
Andrea Montalbano is an author, journalist, mother and coach.

She grew up on a soccer field in Miami. She continued to play through college, acting as captain for her Harvard University soccer team and eventually being inducted into the Harvard Varsity Club Hall of Fame.

After college, Andrea pursued a career in journalism, attending Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She was an English anchor at Vatican Radio, and then worked as a writer and Supervising Producer for NBC News and NBC's TODAY program.

Now, the mother of two young players, Andrea is coaching, writing and bringing all her loves together in Soccer Sisters, the follow up series to Breakaway (2010). Andrea lives outside New York City with her husband Diron, and two children.

Lily breathes, eats, and sleeps soccer! She is one of the best players on the team...

That is until Colby joins the team.

Colby is fun and daring and a little wild.

Lily falls to the temptation of peer pressure and ends up losing a game for her team because she is so tired after sneaking out with Colby the night before.

Lily gets caught up in Colby's wild lies and stops enjoying soccer.

Finally Lily realizes she is not following the Soccer Sisters team code.

She tells her parents everything, puts her head back into the game, and starts enjoying soccer again.

Lily Out of Bounds is a book every young girl should read...(older girls and boys too)...

All will rejoice when she comes off conqueror to a real-life situation!
